Anticipating the Farmington exclamation

Over at Quaker Theology, Chuck Fager gives a very plain-spoken review of Licia Kuenning's new sort-of novel Farmington! Farmington!—and it's definitely worth reading.

Licia is sharing with anyone and everyone what she herself is convinced is a prophecy regarding an impending new world order centering on Farmington, Maine. In this town, beginning on June 6, 2006, there will no longer be death, illness, crime, or bad behavior. It will be the "New Jerusalem" [Rev 21:2-4], she says. Few people believe her. The novel isn't helping.
