LILO I'm definitely not the only one to find Karl Rove's reason for leaving the White House later this month simply incredible, unbelievable, incredulous, disingenuous, and all those other 50-cent words we use to label someone's lies, without actually having to call them a liar. In Rove's situation, really like all other members of the Cheney-Bush administration, this is what one should expect.
In computer science there is an acronym for how the CPU processes data: FIFO, standing for First In, First Out, as in a queue, or as in first-come, first-served. I think the acronym in Rove's case ought to be LILOLies In, Lies Out.1 With Rove and the other villains that make up the Cheney-Bush administration, this is precisely what one should expect.2
Of course, we should also expect that we won't know why he is leaving the White House if we look for that reason in the statements of anyone in the White House. Instead, watch what he does.
1. And with this I do not intend at all to sully the good name of Lilo in Disney's cartoon Lilo & Stitch. 2. Don't believe it? Just watch this Dick Cheney video from 1994.
